Zoey Elizabeth is here!

Zoey Elizabeth Evans, born April 11, 2010 at 6:36pm. Weighing 6lbs 11oz, 19 1/2 inches long. We just got home from the hospital today, so just a few pics for now. I will post a labor story later this week! Check out her red hair!

Built a Bear today!

Decided I wanted to build baby girl her first teddy bear, so off to Build A Bear Workshop I went.
I must say, as an adult I was overwhelmed there with the choices! I admit I did have fun trying cute outfits on my freshly made bear! I decided on the ballerina outfit, and even bought some silky white panties so the bear wouldn't be half naked underneath! I hope Baby Girl likes her first Teddy! I will be back to update after this Friday. I have an appt tomorrow with the cardiologist for a final echocardiogram before going into labor and friday we have another ultrasound to see how big she is getting! Hope everyone had a great Easter! We made ham, cheesey potatoes and mom's baked beans and deviled eggs of course! Have a great week!

Appt Update!

Well baby girl is approx. 5lbs 130z. She is face down, head down. If I dont go into early labor...which is very unlikely. I will be induced sometime week 39. They won't let me go over my due date with the Gestational Diabetes. So it will either be April 22,23,26, or 27 when I go in to be induced. Mom will be heading here on the 21st, so I am hoping he says I can go in on the 22nd. Then Dad will be here the following week! I am so ready for visitors! I got to watch the baby practice breathing today on the ultrasound. Amazing to watch....seeing her little chest move up and down. I can not wait to hold her in my arms and see her beautiful face!!! Next appt is Thurs...for a stress test. Then the week after that is my first internal and another ultrasound. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

35/35!!!!

35 Weeks today and 35 Days left until our Due Date!!!!

34 Week Update :)

Here we are at 34 weeks and 2 days! Last Friday's ultrasound showed baby girl measuring in at 4lbs 11oz. We will have another growth ultrasound next friday the 26th. Things are going well otherwise. She is kicking me like crazy, in fact it hurts sometimes! I think she will be a long skinny one! Hard to believe in less than 6 weeks she will be in my arms!

My Bday is this Sunday! We are going to go for pancakes at the Pancake House since Im not really supposed to have them cuz of the gestational diabetes. So I get to splurge! And hopefully we will go buy some flowers for me to plant around our front tree. Our grass is slowly starting to turn green again! Here are some pics of me from today! Enjoy!
