5 week update!

Newborn rash! Yep, thats what is all over my dear child's face and neck. Poor thing! Apparently it appears between weeks 4-6 and last till 3 months. We were told to change over to Aveeno products to bath her with and got some hydrocortisone cream for her lil face. The dr things she is prone to develop allergies and skin irritations since she is red headed with blue eyes! Very fair skin! They also weighed her today....10lbs!!! I must say she looked like such a big girl sitting in that scale today! Last time at 2 weeks she slid down the lil scale seat, this time she stayed sitting up all by herself in it! She is getting so big!
We are slowly starting to get used to things around here! Mom left last week and since then we are trying to plan the days out so we get things done around the house while Z naps. Craig's mom will be here next week! Zoey can't wait to meet her other Grandma!
I tried working out today! Ha! I made it 1/2 way thru a 25 min video I found on TV! It was mostly all lunging and squats and it literally killed me! Must keep trying! Must lose weight!

Zoey is 1 Month Old today!

I can't believe that 1 month has gone by already! She is getting so big already! Happy Mom's day to everyone out there also! My mom watched Zoey for us last night so we could go out to dinner. Craig suprised me and took me to Nick & Sam's! Mom took the picture below of the 3 of us before we went out!

Zoey Elizabeth Evans, born April 11, 2010 at 6:36pm. Weighing 6lbs 11oz, 19 1/2 inches long. We just got home from the hospital today, so just a few pics for now. I will post a labor story later this week! Check out her red hair!

Built a Bear today!

Decided I wanted to build baby girl her first teddy bear, so off to Build A Bear Workshop I went.
I must say, as an adult I was overwhelmed there with the choices! I admit I did have fun trying cute outfits on my freshly made bear! I decided on the ballerina outfit, and even bought some silky white panties so the bear wouldn't be half naked underneath! I hope Baby Girl likes her first Teddy! I will be back to update after this Friday. I have an appt tomorrow with the cardiologist for a final echocardiogram before going into labor and friday we have another ultrasound to see how big she is getting! Hope everyone had a great Easter! We made ham, cheesey potatoes and mom's baked beans and deviled eggs of course! Have a great week!

Appt Update!

Well baby girl is approx. 5lbs 130z. She is face down, head down. If I dont go into early labor...which is very unlikely. I will be induced sometime week 39. They won't let me go over my due date with the Gestational Diabetes. So it will either be April 22,23,26, or 27 when I go in to be induced. Mom will be heading here on the 21st, so I am hoping he says I can go in on the 22nd. Then Dad will be here the following week! I am so ready for visitors! I got to watch the baby practice breathing today on the ultrasound. Amazing to watch....seeing her little chest move up and down. I can not wait to hold her in my arms and see her beautiful face!!! Next appt is Thurs...for a stress test. Then the week after that is my first internal and another ultrasound. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!
